grade thresholds on IGCSE Maths 2009?
I messed up in my Maths exam.I was the unluckiest person in the exam room and I was so nervous that I couldn't concentrate.I think my mark is about 50% and I need a C.C is always 60% in my school but I wonder if the IGCSE are more generous like in the UK.I live in Qatar.

yes that is definitely a C. a B is about 54%! well done. what did you get for the last question??

The grade boundaries on GCSEs are not determined by your school, but by the nation as a whole. If the nation do worse in the exam, then the grade boundaries go down, however if the nation do better overall then you're more likely to find it difficult to get a C. If you took foundation tier then 60% probably isn't enough but if you took intermediate or higher tier then 60% sounds plenty enough for a C. Good luck :)

Based on last year's iGCSE maths paper, 50% should be a B, and I'm sure you did better than you thought anyway, so you can stop worrying about it until you get the results. :) P.S. Bea-The answer to the last question was 10.
