I need to relocate to Qatar but i do not know where to start

I need to relocate to Qatar but i do not know where to start?
My partner recently got a job in Qatar and we dream of living there together. How do i get a job over there? How do i get a Visa? I speak english and a tiny bit of Arabic. Maybe i could work for the British Embassy? Please help :-)x

Book your flight with a return ticket and a one month stay. You'll get a 1 month visa on arrival. You'll use a credit card at the point of entry, or pay for a check at the little bank there in the arrivals hall. Once in, you can go on interviews and find a sponsor. I don't think your boyfriend can sponsor you. Good luck, and have fun.

you cannot relocate there. the country is already filled with immigrants and they are trying to limit visas to come work there much less relocate. my cousins tried to also relocate there and he told me they are only allowing immigrants to now work and then leave after their visa is finished. you can try saudi arabia or oman. those, in my opinion, are much better to settle in and have good economies and still improving, especially saudi arabia.

If partner means "spouse", then no problem.Your spouse can sponsor your visa without a problem as long as s/he makes more than 5000QR a month. If you aren't married, you need to know that it is illegal for unmarried couples to live together in Qatar. It is a very conservative Muslim country. Check out www.qatarliving.com to get a feel for life here. No problem if you don't speak Arabic, the most common language here is English. Most of the people who work in the stores are not Arabic speakers and most of the offices use English. If you aren't married and still want to come, you should get a job here before you arrive. Once you are in the country, the employers have little incentive to try to lure you here with a good package.
