yeah it is theres alot of foreigners there my friend just moved there and she said it was great

Yes, there's a lot of happy expats living there. It's becoming a mini-Dubai and Qatar Air is trying to dip into the Emirates market so there's a lot of direct flights from Doha to parts of the world (and right now, often with good sales). Qatar is very safe and modern.
