I have the opportunity to accept a job in either Qatar or Bahrain. Which is the better GCC country to live in?
The terms and conditions are roughly the same and the pay is comparible.

i think qatar is best.....many of my frnds work there

There's really no comparison between the countries. Bahrain is a more open, entertaining place to live. If you wish to have the option to engage in a variety of activities, then Bahrain is a better option. Bahrain, in my opinion, is more developed than Qatar nationally, and has a more desirably mixed expatriate community. If you drink or just enjoy bars and clubs, then there's no question Bahrain is the right choice as one can venture out and actually have fun there.
