Fairly similar to Dubai, which is where this post ended up...and similar to every other answer posted to similar questions, it all depends on so many aspects of the life you choose in Qatar. **all prices in Qatari Dinar, per month 1) Housing can run anywhere from 5,000 to 20,000 2) What type of transport and how far are you going? Many companies provide for free, taxis are very expensive, and can be as much as 2,000 per month 3) I spend around 2,500 per month, but cook all of my own and buy fresh veg which is more expensive 4) Most apartments or houses have hook-ups for laundry and you can do your own for FREE! 5) Including A/C, anywhere from 1,000 to 8,000 per month. Someone I know has a very large villa with a pool and pays around 15,000 per month in EWA
