i know him very well he got best teenage player in asia it was in one of the hotels in UAE i dont remember the name and i think he played in asia cup under19 i dont remember very well but there will not be player like ALI KARIMI in the asia he was playing in dubai al ahli now he is in Bayern hey add me to yahoo or msn karime_alikarime@yahoo.com

i have never heard of him coz as you have mentioned, Khalfan Ibrahim plays in his homeland & also the AFC Champions' League which generate little interest particularly here in, Malaysia. moreover, he won the Best Asian Player coz the AFC's silly idea is players must play competitive matches in Asia itself in order to qualify for the award, which means the likes of Shunsuke Nakamura (Glasgow Celtic), Park Ji-Sung (Manchester United), Seol Ki-Hyeon (Reading), Ali Karimi (Bayern Munich) are NOT eligible for the awards.
