How is the living in Qatar?
I wanted to know how the living in Qatar is like because I may be moving there. I have seen pictures of this country though the embassy website, but that does not mean really anything. How is the living in the poor area's because this may be where I would be living? The country is beatiful from what I have seen and they have a lot of the same things we have here in the states. I guess my worrie is how much an 1 br appartment would cost?

my friend who's father resided there for quite a number of years said it was extremely safe. she also mentioned that you could leave your doors open at night while sleeping and still feel safe (no one will harm you in any way.)...but i'm sort of dubious about this statement because it does not seem realistic to me. but then again, i think qatar practises severe punishments if any crime was to be commited
