Stay away from this one if housing allowance is inclusive. What's the job by the way and what's the qualification along with years of experience and I'll give my piece of comments... Edit 1. Take the job if you are single and if housing and tranporatation allowances and health insurance is included. Foods and inner city taxi fares is reasonable and more importantly - the above salary is TAX Free. This means that the above salary is about US$2,400 in taxable countries like the ASEAN Countries where the cost of living is very high nowadays.

QAR 7183.27 is by NO MEANS an attractive salary to work in Qatar. A loaf of bread costs at least QAR 5 and a meal in any streetside eatery of the lowest category costs about QAR 10. The minimum taxi fare is QAR 4 and that will get you nowwhere. Housing costs are phenomenally high in Qatar and your entire monthly wage will not suffice to rent a 2 bedroom apartment. You can rent a room for QAR 2500 per month or share a room for rents ranging from QAR 700 to QAR 1500 per month with one or more room mates. BTW... I have friends there who are planning to leave the country at the earliest possible due to the high, double-digit inflation. And believe me, they earn double the salary you've been offered with lots of other perks !!! The salary is OK for a single person provided it excludes your housing, transportation etc. If you have a family to support, you might as well forget this offer.
