which one is the best to live in: Canada or Qatar?
I hold a First Class MA degree in Arabic/English translation from the UK. I am also fluent in French. I was wondering which country would be the best to live in, settle down and hopefully get a job or do a PhD later on in Translation: Canada or Qatar? Thanks for answering.

When it comes to freedom of speech and security it is best to live in Canada. When it comes to getting a PhD I suggest you check out what the Qatar universities have to offer and compare them to Canada. When it comes to settling down, I guess it depends on if you already have a significant other or you want to find them in Canada or Qatar. Last time I read anything about employment rates in Canada, the situation didn't look to good but I suggest you check out you possible job opportunities in Canada and Qatar by figuring out what it is that you want to do.

if you want to live peacefully and have happy life go to Canada . I can not advise you to live in any Arabic countries , they are strange people and you will not be able to live with them . Good Luck Bye
